What does Ethera taste like?
Ethera is balanced and round, with a medium body and gentle acidity. The medium roast develops sweetness without masking the freshness of its origin – and without the smoky bitterness of very dark roasts.
Ethiopian coffees are often known for fruity and floral notes. How clearly they show in the cup depends a lot on how you brew: as pour-over Ethera tastes clean and light, as espresso denser and sweeter, from a French press full and smooth.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole beans keep their aroma longer and can be ground to suit any method. Ground is the practical choice without a grinder – ideal for filter coffee.

Buying coffee beans: a practical guide
Freshness, origin, roast and bag size: six criteria for buying coffee – and how ordering Ethera works.

How to make espresso with a portafilter machine
18 g in, 36 g out, 25–30 seconds: the base recipe for a portafilter machine, the right beans and milk foam for cappuccino.

How to make French press coffee
32 g, 500 ml, 4 minutes: the base recipe, the right grind and the most common mistakes.

How to store coffee properly
Airtight, dark, cool: how long coffee stays fresh, why the fridge is a bad idea and when freezing helps.
How is the coffee roasted?
Medium (medium roast). This makes it just as suitable for espresso as for filter, French press or Bialetti.
Which sizes are available?
250 g, 500 g and 1000 g – each as whole bean or ground.
Whole bean or ground?
Whole beans keep their aroma for longer; ideally grind them just before brewing. We recommend ground coffee if you don't have a grinder – use it within two to three weeks of opening.
How can I order?
Via WhatsApp or using the enquiry form on the product page. Choose your size and grind – we will personally confirm delivery and payment.
